Earlier today David Archuleta had a phone interview with Derek Micheal Sheldon. In the interview David is asked and talks about his sophomore album and book “Chords of Stregth” He is also most likely releasing a single this spring! Here is the article below:

Today I had the pleasure to speak with David Archuleta about his new album, and his new biography, “Chords of Strength!” While arrested by a snow man in approximately 2 feet of white nasty precipitation, I was bold enough to conduct this interview in my pajama pants as usual! I found David Archuleta to be a very sweet, humble, and a passionate artist who loves his music. I always enjoy speaking with such great artists who are all about the music. I am also proud to note I’ve upgraded to a very professional recording studio for the laptop. The sound quality is simply amazing! Last Wednesday, February 3rd, David Archuleta performed with American Idol Alum and friend Jordin Sparks for the 2010 Jordin Sparks Experience held at Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach on Wednesday evening (February 3) in Miami. The former American Idol alumni put their voices together on stage and performed “No Air.” The event also brought awareness to Allstate Insurance’s X the TXT campaign; a campaign to end texting while driving, which Jordin helped launch late last year. Last Wednesday night David also sang solo songs, including Crush and Apologize, with other performances as well. Check out the awesome videos below!

David Archuleta was present to answer the call during the recent “Hope for Haiti” telethon but even though he just answered phones and didn’t perform live, he still was able to share is vocals backstage for the people of Haiti

The “American Idol” season 7 runner-up performed a rendition of Kurt Bestor’s “Prayer of the Children”. After finishing the song, he urged fans to be involved in the relief effort, saying “Please help these kids. They’re going through a lot. And they need your help so just do anything you can and donate for these kids.”

While we are all aware that David has a new album to be released sometime this year. A Twitter user PastelPastel posted an image via TwitPic.

This image could be our lead to when David’s upcoming album will be released (in Canada at least). I am sure that we are first to post about this, so if any David fansites decide to use this information, please credit EverythingArchie.

How do we know?

At first we weren’t sure whether this was from last year or this year, but then while I (Sam) was looking closely at the picture to see if I can if I can find any clues as to when this picture was taken, I saw that a part of Miley Cyrus’ new album was in the picture. You can tell that it was her new album by her name on the album and I know for a fact that this was regarding to 2010 because her album was released late of last year. Haha, then I realized that I could have just looked when the user posted this picture (January 17, 2010).

I’m almost 100% positive that his album will NOT be coming out in February. As you see that it has FEBRUARY big and bold above all the artists? For example, it has February 2 > Ozzy Osbourne. The user who took this picture did not take the JANUARY section of it along with the January dates.

It would look like:

JANUARY

January # Miley Cyrus
January # Demi Lovato

Just like it has:

FEBRUARY

February 2 Ozzy Osbourne.. etc. Catch my drift?

Hey guys. We will not be providing you with a gallery. I spent three hours the other day setting it up and uploading photos. Something went wrong and it has been deleted. It appears to not be working and a fatal error is in replace of it. I don’t have time to spend another three hours setting it up and adding all of the photos. Especially now since finals are up. Maybe people should follow directions and not think they know stuff and get upload happy so this doesn’t happen! Good try though. I’m just not in the mood now. Half of the hits are from me and Allie anyways. Why should we even have a gallery? You can find David photos at other, more popular sites. LEARN: you cannot work with amateurs who do not want to learn and give up on things that seem hard. No one taught me, I learned by myself. It’s really NOT that hard to learn how to work a website. But you won’t let me teach you. Haha, sorry, letting my anger out on this post. I just have to get it all out. Lmao.

Many of you have been asking us if we new the release date of David’s new upcoming pop album. There isn’t any info available at the moment. He is allegedly working on writing and writing with other artists. Once there is information released, we will post about it. Until then, you’ll have to wait it out :/

HAPPY NEW YEAR! We’re five days into the new year and it’s already looking like it’s going to be a good one! I hope everyone enjoyed bringing in the new year and celebrating the end of the decade.
